In this hardcore action RPG, Jack must face numerous dangers in order to restore the light of the crystals to a kingdom threatened by darkness.
Use a variety of ways and means to gain the upper hand in grueling battles and defeat your enemies. Different levels of difficulty, as well as the wide range of jobs and weapons to customize your party, allow you to play the game the way you want.
When the crystals' light is reignited, will there be peace, or will a new form of darkness emerge? ... Or maybe something completely different is happening?

THE CRUELEST AND FAST-PACED BATTLES IN THE FF SERIES
Layers of challenging action illustrate the story. In addition to fast-paced weapon skills, battles are also accompanied by iconic actions and skills from the FF series. After draining their will bar, deal the killing blow to the enemy with a soul crusher that pulverizes the crystalized enemy.
SWITCH BETWEEN TWO JOBS DURING THE BATTLE
The different types of weapons, such as greatswords, daggers, and spears, determine the character's job when equipped. Characters learn new skills and jobs through the "Job Menu" progression system. This is rounded off by the character's appearance, which reflects the weapons and equipment carried.

For the first time in a non-MMO installment in the FINAL FANTASY franchise, each piece of gear being worn is visually represented in-game. A great creation system and plenty of loot allow for customization of the entire party, as well as freedom of choice for your appearance and playstyle.
